SHIPPING

 

 

BILTONG SHACK will deliver goods anywhere in Australia. All purchases are subject to personal identification upon delivery and proof of age when Alcohol form part of the order. NO ALCOHOL shall be delivered to minors (under 18’s). Failed deliveries shall be returned to Biltong Shack and shall incur additional shipping and handling charges to the person that placed the order regardless of circumstance.

 

Shipping Options

 

  • Delivered by AUSTRALIA POST

To ensure that your order is received as quickly and safely as possible, we use Australia Post eParcel which includes a free tracking service on every parcel. If you would like to provide special instructions for your delivery (eg. if no one is home, leave at the front door), please include a comment when you place your order. Note that personal identification and proof of age will be required for a recipient of liquor in accordance with the Queensland Liquor Act. When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email from Australia Post with a tracking number, which you can check at http://auspost.com.au/track or at your local Australia Post Office.

Please ensure the delivery address you provide is correct when placing your order. Re-delivery due to incomplete or incorrect address will delay your deliver and may incur additional shipping handling charges.

Please ensure that you eligible to order Alcohol as return cost for orders shall incur additional shipping and handling charges to the person that placed the order regardless of circumstance.

 

  • Delivered by BILTONG SHACK

Biltong Shack endeavour to do personal deliveries in and around Emerald.

  • Delivery by Other Couriers

Delivery by other couriers will require Biltong Shack to provide a quotation or you can arrange pickup and delivery by your chosen Courier on your own account.

Please confirm when your order will be ready for dispatch before you arrange a pickup.

 

  •  International Shipping and Handling

International orders are subject to confirmation - some items may not be suitable for freight and may require verification of shipping costs. For international orders please contact us for a custom shipping quote. Please note that it’s the purchasers’ responsibility to ensure that all items ordered from us are legally allowed into the country of delivery. Request a quotation via "contact us" after you place your order, refer to your order number, delivery address and freight requirements, i.e. DHL, Express Air, etc.

 

Shipping Cost

Shipping rates vary according to the weight of your order and place of delivery. Our delivery cost calculator will estimate cost to a maximum of 75Kg with exception of the Northern Territory, Australian Capital Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania the maximum estimated delivery cost is only 20Kg. You may request a manual quotation to ensure the most economical delivery cost; a $7.50 quoting fee may apply. Delivery costs are based on capital centres and therefore may change for remote addresses and/or weights above our cost calculator’s ranges. Please ensure you select the correct option on the “SELECT DELIVERY” tab above CHECKOUT tab on the Cart page.

 

To check how much shipping will cost before you checkout, simply:

  • Add the goods you want to the Cart

  • Click on Cart (at the top of each page)

  • Increase quantities on the Cart page if required

  • Select a Delivery Option (under the list of cart items)

  • Enter the Country & State (for the delivery address)

  • The Shipping Calculator will enter and add your shipping rate to the Total

 

Estimated Dispatch Time

Biltong Shack endeavour to dispatch your order within 1-4 working days of receipt of payment. Generally, orders placed before 1pm (AEST) on a business days are dispatched the following business day, and orders placed after 1pm (AEST) should be dispatched 1 business day later. Shipping times vary according to packing requirements, holidays and delivery address.

 

We will send you a confirmation email when your package has been shipped. If your delivery choice is with Australia Post you will receive a confirmation email from Australia Post with a tracking number, which you can check at http://www.auspost.com.au/track or at your local Australia Post Office.

 

Approximate delivery times, from date of shipment:

  • Australia (major centre’s): average 2-4 business days

  • Australia (other areas): 5-7 business days

  • International (Airmail): 1-3 weeks

International (Sea-mail): 2-3 months
